DESCRIPTION:Join us at Yucaipa Regional Park to make and take home some Valentine’s Day arts & crafts. Make a special gift for your Valentine. All ages are welcome and all supplies are provided while they last. Admission is $10 per vehicle and free for those camping with us. Pack the car and head over to Yucaipa. Yucaipa offers fishing (seasonally stocked every Thursday with trout)\, playground area\, picnic areas with grills\, biking\, hiking and plenty of room to run and play. Leashed pets are welcome too! DESCRIPTION:Join San Bernardino County Regional Parks\, Bloomington Recreation and Park District along with the office of Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca\, Jr.\, The Olive Branch Development and Empowerment Services\, Inc.\, and the Bloomington Little League for a Kite Day at Kessler Park on Saturday\, Feb. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free to the public and all ages are welcome to this family-friendly event.   \nSpend the afternoon flying a kite or learning how to fly a kite. All supplies will be provided. Participants can either make their own kite\, pick out an assembled kite or bring their own kite. Other activities include arts & crafts\, games\, giveaways\, music and vendors.   \nPre-registration is highly encouraged\, and check-in begins at 10:30 a.m. Pre-register on the Special Districts website.  \nKessler Park is located at 18401 Jurupa Ave. In Bloomington. SUMMARY:Yucaipa Youth Trout Derby
DESCRIPTION:Join Regional Parks\, the Yucaipa Valley Lions Club & the California Fish & Wildlife for our youth derby for kids ages 4-15. Poles and bait will be provided. Volunteers will be onsite to assist youth. All youth must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. The lake will be stocked with trout by the California Fish & Wildlife. Prizes will be awarded at 11 a.m. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. Entry fee is $10 per vehicle. \nWHAT TO BRING \n\nSunscreen\nSnacks\nA hat\nPersonal fishing poles (if you have them)\nComfortable shoes (waterproof or water resistant would be best)\nReusable water bottle\nIf 16 years old\, a state fishing license will need to purchased beforehand (15 and under do not need a state fishing license)\n\n  \nPRE-REGISTRATION IS CLOSED \nThank you for your interest\, but we have reached capacity for this event.
