DESCRIPTION:Join Regional Parks as we celebrate Hot Summer Nights on Saturday\, August 9\, from 4:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at Yucaipa Regional Park for some summer sizzlin’ games\, activities\, live music\, food trucks and drone show\, Saturday\, Aug. 8\, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.\n\nGet ready to witness the night sky come alive with dazzling lights\, synchronized movement\, and breathtaking designs — all from a fleet of glowing drones!\n\nAll ages are welcome! Leashed pets are welcome too! Bring your chairs\, blankets\, snacks and set up for a relaxing afternoon at beautiful Yucaipa Regional Park.\n\nYucaipa Regional Park offers the perfect landscape to spend the day at the park fishing\, hiking\, biking\, swimming at the swim complex with waterslides (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Check parks.sbcounty.gov/swim-schedules for pool schedule.)\, on the playground\, picnicking and grilling\, renting a pedal boat or disc golfing. Pack the car and come out for this exciting day of exploring the great outdoors.\n\nYucaipa is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is located at 33900 Oak Glen Road in Yucaipa.\n\nThis event is free for those camping with us. SUMMARY:Catfish Derby at Cucamonga-Guasti
DESCRIPTION:SAVE-THE-DATE! Regional Parks is excited to welcome back night fishing opportunities for all ages with the catfish derby at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park\, Saturday\, Aug. 22\, from 6-10 p.m.\n\nPre-sale tickets coming soon.\n\nDERBY FEESFees are $20 per person and $15 per vehicle. A fishing license is required for all participants ages 16 years and older.\n\nParticipants will receive a wristband and packet with derby entry forms and rules. The derby is rain or shine and no refunds will be given. Both the small and large lakes will be open to derby contestants.\n\nRegional Parks will have a weigh-in station available and encourages participants to allow plenty of time to weigh and enter their fish prior to the 10 p.m. cutoff time.\n\nDerby cash prizes will be awarded for:\n\nFirst place: $1\,000\nSecond place: $500\nThird place: $250\n\n\nWinners do not need to be present to claim their prize(s). Winners will be announced at approximately 10:15 p.m. at the Regional Parks weigh-in station at the snack bar near the large lake.\nA food truck will be on site to purchase food.\n\nCucamonga-Guasti Regional Park is located at 800 N. Archibald Ave. in Ontario (next to Top Golf).\n\nPark summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the summer.
