DESCRIPTION:San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk Josie Gonzales is thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Halloween marriage services at Calico Ghost Town\, taking place Friday\, Oct. 31\, 2025\, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 36600 Ghost Town Rd. in Yermo.  Couples are invited to say “I do” in one of California’s most unique and historic locations. Calico Ghost Town\, a preserved silver mining town dating back to 1881\, offers a one-of-a-kind setting that blends rustic charm with spooky seasonal spirit.  “I am proud to offer couples a truly unforgettable wedding experience\,” Gonzales said. “My team is excited to help people celebrate their love in a setting filled with history\, character\, and the magic of Halloween.”  \nThis annual event draws couples from across the region who are looking to exchange vows in a festive and memorable way. Participants are encouraged to dress in Halloween or western-themed attire to add a playful and personal touch to their ceremony.  \n “We are thrilled to be able to set the stage for the second annual destination wedding event at Calico Ghost Town. This year\, the town will be able to offer the full Halloween experience to the newly wedded couples as we kick off our second weekend of Ghost Haunt\,” said Beahta Davis\, director of Regional Parks. “We invite the newlyweds to stick around for this special occasion and enjoy the event from 5 to 9 p.m.”  \nAppointments are encouraged and must be scheduled by contacting the Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk’s Office at 855-732-2575.   \nThe last day to schedule an appointment is Oct. 28\, 2025. SUMMARY:Calico Ghost Haunt
DESCRIPTION:If spooking is your thing and Halloween brings out the howl in you\, Calico Ghost Town may be the fright place to be the last two weekends in October for our annual Ghost Haunt: Terror Under The Big Top. The first weekend of ghost haunting starts Friday\, Oct. 24 through Sunday\, Oct. 26. The second weekend starts on Halloween night\, Friday\, Oct. 31 through Sunday\, Nov. 2. \nGhost Haunt hours are: \n\nFriday: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.\nSaturday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.\nSunday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.\n\nGhost Haunting activities include pumpkin carving\, trick-or-treating\, costume contests for all ages\, campsite decorating contest\, live music and entertainment shows\, gunfighter shows\, family-friendly games and activities\, haunted attractions* (includes train rides\, gold panning\, haunted mine tours\, Mystery Shack and ghost tours). *Attractions are an additional price. Dogs can join in on the fun too as Dorsey’s Dog House hosts its dog costume contest on Saturdays. \nCampsite Contest \nCampers can also participate in our annual Ghost Haunt Campsite Decorating Contest based on the “Terror Under The Big Top” theme. \n Admission \nGeneral admission for adults (12 & over) is $15\, youth (ages 4-11) is $10 and ages 3 and under are free.
