DESCRIPTION:Rain or shine Regional Parks is excited to host its annual Easter eggstravaganza hunts on Sunday\, March 31st at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Join us for the egg hunt and get a photo op with the Easter bunny at Cucamonga-Guasti\, Glen Helen\, Mojave Narrows\, Prado and Yucaipa Regional Parks. Note: the duration of the egg hunts depends on attendance and how fast the eggs are found (while supplies last). SUMMARY:Calico Bluegrass Festival
DESCRIPTION:Every year\, Calico Ghost Town brings together the sounds of Americana\, Blues and folk-rock together while offering games and activities for the entire family to enjoy. Join Regional Parks as Calico Ghost Town comes to life with lives bands\, such as Rose’s Pawn Shop\, the all-female group\, Lilies of the West and The Storytellers while strolling through town to enjoy arts & crafts\, face painting\, our infamous egg toss contest or see some racing hog’s and dog’s. There will be plenty to see\, such as our Victorian Muse Theatre or our schoolhouse sessions that relive what school was like for miner’s children in the 1800s. \nAdmission into Calico for the festival is $15 for adults\, $10 for youth (ages 4-11) and three and under are free. We are pet-friendly and have restaurants and stores for eating and shopping. DESCRIPTION:The San Bernardino County Fish & Game Commission\, in collaboration with Regional Parks and sponsorships by Third District Supervisor and Chair Dawn Rowe\, Fourth District Supervisor Curt Hagman\, Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca\, Jr.\, and Hesperia Lake Recreation & Park District hosts the third annual Family Fish & Wildlife Festival at Prado Regional Park on Saturday\, June 8\, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. \nThe festival is a family-friendly event that provides hands-on fishing workshops with fishing supplies provided\, live demonstrations\, animal exhibits\, food booths\, live music and more. \nLocal vendors\, such as Bass Pro Shops\, Turner’s Outdoorsman\, Inland Valley Big Brothers and Big Sisters\, the California Department of Fish & Wildlife (CDFW)\, the Chino Valley Fire Department and many more will be onsite to greet eventgoers and offer prize giveaways. \nActivities include archery lessons\, games\, face painting\, arts & crafts\, biking and more. \nA fishing workshop will provide free rods\, gear and bait for those who want to learn how to fish. The California Department of Fish & Wildlife will stock 1\,000 lbs. of catfish prior to the event. \nWe encourage eventgoers to bring their own chairs and/or food and snacks and spend the day with us. The Bucket Brigade is a race to see whose team can scoop and pass buckets of water to fill up the water barrel first. \nFood options during the event include the Calico House Restaurant\, Lil’s Saloon\, and food vendors. Attendees can also visit Calico shops and attractions including Maggie Mine\, Mystery Shack\, Dorsey’s Gourmet Dog House shop and the Odessa Railroad train ride. Calico is pet-friendly and leashed pets are welcomed. \nThis family-friendly event embraces the life and culture of the 1880s when Calico was a bustling silver mining town from 1881 through the late 1890s when Calico began to see a steady decline in population as silver lost its value and people fled the town. \nAt the height of its glory\, the town’s population rose to about 1\,200 people in 1887\, and had about 22 saloons\, a schoolhouse\, post office\, its own version of a China Town\, a cemetery and its own newspaper. The town produced about $86 million in silver and about $45 million in borax\, hauling its product by the infamous 21-Mule Team. \nIn 1966\, Walter Knott\, the founder of Knott’s Berry Farm\, donated Calico to San Bernardino County\, which is now managed by the Regional Parks Department. \nAdmission is $10 for adults\, $5 for kids ages 4-11 and children under 3 are free.

Mojave Narrows Regional Park will be hosting its annual Harvest Festival and Haunted Hayride event on Saturday\, Oct. 11\, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. The festival celebrates the beginning of fall with this year’s theme\, Dr. Pains Snake Oil and Tonics — offering lots of trickery and deception for all eventgoers. This year\, we will be offering a movie in the park\, featuring Hotel Transylvania with free popcorn\, while supplies last. \nThe event will also include trick-or-treating\, costume contests for all ages\, family games and activities\, including an axe throwing booth\, a pumpkin patch\, live music by the High D Boys\, a petting zoo\, live animal presentations by Wildman Dan\, food vendors and more. All ages are welcome\, including leashed pets! \nHAYRIDE PRE-SALE TICKETS OPEN SEPT. 29 \nTickets for the hayrides will go on sale on Monday. DESCRIPTION:San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk Josie Gonzales is thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Halloween marriage services at Calico Ghost Town\, taking place Friday\, Oct. 31\, 2025\, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 36600 Ghost Town Rd. in Yermo.  Couples are invited to say “I do” in one of California’s most unique and historic locations. Calico Ghost Town\, a preserved silver mining town dating back to 1881\, offers a one-of-a-kind setting that blends rustic charm with spooky seasonal spirit.  “I am proud to offer couples a truly unforgettable wedding experience\,” Gonzales said. “My team is excited to help people celebrate their love in a setting filled with history\, character\, and the magic of Halloween.”  \nThis annual event draws couples from across the region who are looking to exchange vows in a festive and memorable way. Participants are encouraged to dress in Halloween or western-themed attire to add a playful and personal touch to their ceremony.  \n “We are thrilled to be able to set the stage for the second annual destination wedding event at Calico Ghost Town. SUMMARY:Calico Holiday Fest
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, November 29\, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.\, Calico Ghost Town will transform into a holiday festival with a photo op with Santa\, Christmas caroling and the annual tree lighting that is sure to amuse the merriest of little spirits in this picturesque Old West mining town. \nFestivalgoers can sing along or simply listen to your favorite holiday melodies. There will be a reading of the favorite “T’was the Night Before Christmas”\, contests for the whole family\, crafts for kids\, gunfights performed by our very own Calico Mountain Volunteers. \nAvoid the lines and parking nightmares at shopping malls and browse our specialty arts & craft shops for that hard-to-buy-for relative\, neighbor or friend. Some of our shops will be offering special discounts for holiday shopping. \nSanta arrives at 11 a.m. with a cheery “Ho! Ho! Ho!” for photos with the children and will light the Calico Christmas tree at 6:30 p.m. After the tree lighting\, Lil’s Saloon will be providing complimentary cookies and hot chocolate. \nThere will be plenty of festive foods available for purchase through our vendors\, Lil’s Saloon\, Silver Rush Burger and Calico House Restaurant. \nCalico will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $10 per adult\, $5 children ages 4-11\, and 3 years\, and under are free. \nCalico Ghost Town offers full and partial camping at the park. Reservations may be booked by calling 1-877-387-2757 or emailing parks@parks.sbcounty.gov. Cabins\, bunkhouses and RV trailer rentals are also available. \nCalico Ghost Town is located off I-15 at Ghost Town Road in Yermo\, just 10 miles north of Barstow off Interstate 15.

Then\, starting Monday\, Dec. 22 through Tuesday\, Dec. 30\, the event will be open nightly\, from 5–9 p.m.\, except on Christmas Day\, Dec. 25\, when all Regional Parks will be closed. \nMore than 100 holiday displays and a 100-foot light tunnel will allow visitors to catch the spirit of the season as they walk through with family and friends to the sound of holiday music. \nSanta Claus and his elves will make their stop at Guasti for the little visitors and family photos on Saturday\, Dec. 20 and Sunday\, Dec. 21\, from 6-9 p.m. \nHoliday Walk of Lights Schedule \nHours; 5-9 p.m. \n\nNov. 28-30\nDec. 5-7\nDec. 12-14\nDec. 19\nDec. 20: Santa & Elves 6-9 p.m.\nDec. 21: Santa & Elves 6-9 p.m.\nDec. 22-24\nDec. 26-30\n\nArts & crafts and free hot cocoa and apple cider will be available while supplies last.
