SUMMARY:Bear Necessities at Prado
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Prado Regional Park on Saturday\, April 25\, as we explore some “beary” important safety tips and tricks when a bear is nearby and how to identify the different types of bears native to our region. \nForget about your worries and your strife when you learn some “paws-itively” wild facts about bears native to North America. We’ll also talk about how to respect our furry wildlife neighbors. It’s a fun way to learn about bear biology and just how necessary the conservation is when recreating outdoors. Plus\, we will conduct a field experiment. Join us! It would be unbearable without you! \nAdmission is $15 per vehicle and free for those camping with us at Prado. All ages are welcome\, including leashed pets. Kids will have a chance to learn how to groom\, feed and interact with a horse! \nDates include: \nA two-hour session from 9-11 a.m. \n\nSunday\, July 26\nSunday Aug. 23\nSunday\, Oct. 25\n\nA fun introduction to horses and equestrian life for the whole family to enjoy! All children will also get to paint their own horseshoe to take home as well as a certificate of completion. \nEach session is $35 for two hours\, from 9-11 a.m. The Prado Park Equestrian Center (PPEC) is located inside Prado Regional Park.
