SUMMARY:Veteran Appreciation Day at Parks
DESCRIPTION:San Bernardino County Regional Parks honors all county residents who are either a veteran or on active duty in the United States Armed Services\, including reserves or National Guard\, with free park admission on Tuesday\, Nov. 11. \nParticipating parks include Cucamonga-Guasti\, Glen Helen\, Mojave Narrows\, Prado and Yucaipa Regional Parks and will honor one free vehicle admission. So\, everyone in the car can enjoy free admission on Regional Parks. \nCalico Ghost Town will only honor the veteran or active-duty personnel with one free adult admission. Must present military ID or DD214 for free admission. \nPark hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, daily. Calico Ghost Town is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, daily. Then\, starting Monday\, Dec. 22 through Tuesday\, Dec. 30\, the event will be open nightly\, from 5–9 p.m.\, except on Christmas Day\, Dec. 25\, when all Regional Parks will be closed. \nMore than 100 holiday displays and a 100-foot light tunnel will allow visitors to catch the spirit of the season as they walk through with family and friends to the sound of holiday music. \nSanta Claus and his elves will make their stop at Guasti for the little visitors and family photos on Saturday\, Dec. 20 and Sunday\, Dec. 21\, from 6-9 p.m. \nHoliday Walk of Lights Schedule \nHours; 5-9 p.m. \n\nNov. 28-30\nDec. 5-7\nDec. 12-14\nDec. 19\nDec. 20: Santa & Elves 6-9 p.m.\nDec. 21: Santa & Elves 6-9 p.m.\nDec. 22-24\nDec. 26-30\n\nArts & crafts and free hot cocoa and apple cider will be available while supplies last.
