SUMMARY:Veteran Appreciation Day at Parks
DESCRIPTION:San Bernardino County Regional Parks honors all county residents who are either a veteran or on active duty in the United States Armed Services\, including reserves or National Guard\, with free park admission on Tuesday\, Nov. 11. \nParticipating parks include Cucamonga-Guasti\, Glen Helen\, Mojave Narrows\, Prado and Yucaipa Regional Parks and will honor one free vehicle admission. So\, everyone in the car can enjoy free admission on Regional Parks. \nCalico Ghost Town will only honor the veteran or active-duty personnel with one free adult admission. Must present military ID or DD214 for free admission. \nPark hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, daily. Calico Ghost Town is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, daily. SUMMARY:Bear Necessities at Yucaipa
DESCRIPTION:Forget about your worries and your strife when you learn about all the Bear Necessities at Yucaipa Regional Park. We can take it chill like a polar bear as we explore some “paws-itively” wild facts about bears native to North America. We will also talk just how “beary” important it is to stay safe and respectful to our furry wildlife neighbors\, including tips and tricks on how to safely live or recreate in bear country. It’s a fun way to learn about bear biology and just how necessary conservation is. Plus\, we will conduct a field experiment. Join us! It would be unbearable without you! Admission is $15 per vehicle and free for those camping with us. All ages are welcome\, including leashed pets. All supplies will be provided while they last.
