SUMMARY:Valentine's Day Crafts at Yucaipa
DESCRIPTION:Join Regional Parks on Saturday\, Feb. 7 at Yucaipa Regional Park from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. for a hands-on activity making adorable Valentine’s Day cards or other sweet-themed decorations for that special someone. \nWhether you’re crafting for a friend\, a family member\, or just for fun\, we’ve got plenty of materials and inspiration to help your imagination bloom. All supplies are provided while they last. \nThis activity is perfect for families\, kids\, and anyone who enjoys a little heartfelt crafting in an outdoor setting. All ages are welcome. Pets are also welcome! \nCome spend the day with us and enjoy our beautiful lakes\, playgrounds and other amenities. Pack a lunch or come fishing\, both Glen Helen and Yucaipa offer plenty of grills\, picnic shelters\, walking or biking paths and green open spaces to play ball. \nAdmission is $15 per vehicle and free for those camping with us. SUMMARY:REGISTRATION CLOSED! Youth Trout Derby at Yucaipa
DESCRIPTION:EVENT UPDATE: Due to an overwhelming response\, we have met capacity and registration is now closed. We will be hosting another trout derby for all ages on March 7\, at Mojave Narrows Regional Park. We will post the details soon! Thank you and hope to see you at the Parks! \nJoin Regional Parks\, the Yucaipa Valley Lions Club & the California Fish & Wildlife for our youth derby for kids ages 4-15. Poles and bait  will be available. Volunteers will be on-site to assist youth. All youth must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.  \n\nCheck-in begins at 8 a.m.\nPrizes will be awarded at 11 a.m.\nEntry fee is $15 per vehicle (up to 6 youth per vehicle).\n\nWHAT TO BRING \n\nSunscreen\nSnacks\nA hat\nChairs for seating.\nFishing poles will be available; however\, we strongly recommend bringing your own\, as supplies are limited.\nComfortable shoes (waterproof or water resistant would be best).\nReusable water bottle.\nA bag for any caught fish.\nFood and drinks will be available for purchase during the event.
