DESCRIPTION:Get ready to blow\, bubble and create something magical with Regional Parks in this hands-on family Art in the Park: Rainbow Bubbles activity at Yucaipa Regional Park on Thursday\, July 30\, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.\n\n\nNOTE: Participants are asked to bring an empty water bottle.\n\n\nStep into a world of color and foam as you watch bright\, swirling bubbles come to life right in front of you. With just a few simple materials\, you’ll create long flowing bubble “snakes” that grow and stretch.\n\nThis playful\, magical sensory experience is all about experimenting\, exploring and having fun together.\n\nDon’t miss this exciting opportunity to create\, play\, and discover — perfect for families looking to add a little extra color and joy to their day!\n\nAll supplies will be provided while they last. All ages are welcome! Leashed pets are welcome too!\n\nYucaipa Regional Park offers the perfect landscape to spend the day at the park fishing\, hiking\, biking\, swimming at the swim complex with waterslides (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Check parks.sbcounty.gov/swim-schedules for pool schedule.)\, on the playground\, picnicking and grilling\, renting a pedal boat or disc golfing. SUMMARY:Catfish Derby at Cucamonga-Guasti
DESCRIPTION:SAVE-THE-DATE! Regional Parks is excited to welcome back night fishing opportunities for all ages with the catfish derby at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park\, Saturday\, Aug. 22\, from 6-10 p.m.\n\nPre-sale tickets coming soon.\n\nDERBY FEESFees are $20 per person and $15 per vehicle. A fishing license is required for all participants ages 16 years and older.\n\nParticipants will receive a wristband and packet with derby entry forms and rules. The derby is rain or shine and no refunds will be given. Both the small and large lakes will be open to derby contestants.\n\nRegional Parks will have a weigh-in station available and encourages participants to allow plenty of time to weigh and enter their fish prior to the 10 p.m. cutoff time.\n\nDerby cash prizes will be awarded for:\n\nFirst place: $1\,000\nSecond place: $500\nThird place: $250\n\n\nWinners do not need to be present to claim their prize(s). Winners will be announced at approximately 10:15 p.m. at the Regional Parks weigh-in station at the snack bar near the large lake.\nA food truck will be on site to purchase food.\n\nCucamonga-Guasti Regional Park is located at 800 N. Archibald Ave. in Ontario (next to Top Golf).\n\nPark summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the summer.
