COVID-19 Park Rules

COVID-19 rules for swimming with icons on the left. Wear a mask, social distance, hand sanitizer, boy swimming, cabana.

As of Aug. 5, 2020

Activities Allowed with Limits

Allowable activities below mandates the practice social distancing of at least a minimum of 6 feet from other people, except those who reside in the same household, and wearing a face covering while in our parks.

  • Short-term camping (one site per household). No gatherings or parties. NOTE: Glen Helen camp sites remain closed.
  • Hiking
  • Fishing (Catfish is now being stocked weekly through September)
  • Group leisure activities are limited to those where the participants are from the same household.
  • Limited restrooms are open at each park.
  • Swim Facilities
    • Glen Helen pool is open except on Mondays & Tuesdays.
    • Glen Helen pool & splash pad are now open but are scheduled to close on July 29-31 & Aug 5-7. The pool & splash pad will close early at 2 PM on on August 1 and at 3 PM on August 2.. Call 909.887.7540 or email parks@parks.sbcounty.gov to check daily pool status.
    • Yucaipa pool is open except on Mondays.
    • Lake Gregory beach access and swimming is closed to the public.
    • Cucamonga-Guasti pool is closed.
    • See below for more details on all park locations and closures.
  • Splash pads are open (except at Lake Gregory for repairs).
  • Water slides at applicable parks remain closed.
  • Lake Gregory does not offer any boat rentals. The only allowed activity on the lake is kayaking. You must bring your own hard-bottom kayak and the launch fee is $13/day payable at the San Mortiz Lodge daily from 7:30 AM to 10 AM and from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.

Activities Not Allowed

In compliance with California mandates, the following activities are not permitted:

Park Concessionaire Information

At this time, not all park concessionaires plan to re-open. If and when stores and services at our parks plan to re-open, they will implement their own COVID-19 CDC guidelines to the County for approval. Please refer to a specific park below to find out what is re-opening.
