As part of the park capital improvement projects being made at Prado Regional Park, park staff have been working tirelessly to update the park irrigation system over the past year. Below are aerial photos taken in October 2022 showing the dry conditions of the park prior to the recent irrigation improvements.
Tackling this project was no easy feat and with much perseverance, Regional Parks, in partnership with the Department of Public Works-Special Districts, are happy to announce that the project is making progress and is noticeable in the park entrance, playing fields and in the Red Tailed Hawk picnic shelter area.
