Calico California Days is an annual family-friendly festival celebrating early California history and its silver mining past with Old West reenactments, gunfighter shows, live music, historical displays, contests (like beard/mustache and pie-eating), kids’ games (Pony Express relay, Dorsey’s Dog Delivery), and fair-style food. This event highlights California’s admission to the Union in 1850 and offers educational fun about the state’s heritage. 
What to Expect:
  • Entertainment: Gunfight shows, live music, storytelling.
  • Activities: Pony rides, beard/mustache contests, pie-eating contests, kids’ games.
  • History: Mining displays, Pony Express stories, reenactments.
