REGIONAL PARKS NOTICES:
EXTENDED SUMMER PARK HOURS: Now through Aug. 21, Guasti, Glen Helen, Mojave Narrows, Prado & Yucaipa will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
SPLASH PADS: Are open at Cucamonga-Guasti, Prado & Mojave Narrows Regional Parks.
MOJAVE NARROWS: The ADA-accessible tent campground restrooms are closed until further notice.
YUCAIPA: Due to minimal traces of algae found in the bottom lake, caution signs have been posted around the lake. Get more info on algal blooms.
YUCAIPA ENTRANCE NOTICE: Be advised that lining up or stopping on Oak Glen Rd. to enter Yucaipa is not permitted prior to 7:30 a.m. ‘No Stopping’ signs are posted along Oak Glen Rd. for safety and traffic impact.
Catfish Derby at Cucamonga-Guasti

SAVE-THE-DATE! Regional Parks is excited to welcome back night fishing opportunities for all ages with the catfish derby at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park, Saturday, Aug. 22, from 6-10 p.m.

DERBY FEES
Fees are $20 per person and $15 per vehicle. A fishing license is required for all participants ages 16 years and older.

Participants will receive a wristband and packet with derby entry forms and rules. The derby is rain or shine and no refunds will be given. Both the small and large lakes will be open to derby contestants.
Regional Parks will have a weigh-in station available and encourages participants to allow plenty of time to weigh and enter their fish prior to the 10 p.m. cutoff time.
Derby cash prizes will be awarded for:
- First place: $1,000
- Second place: $500
- Third place: $250
Winners do not need to be present to claim their prize(s). Winners will be announced at approximately 10:15 p.m. at the Regional Parks weigh-in station at the snack bar near the large lake.
A food truck will be on site to purchase food.
Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park is located at 800 N. Archibald Ave. in Ontario (next to Top Golf).
Park summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the summer.
