San Bernardino County Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk Josie Gonzales is thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Halloween marriage services at Calico Ghost Town, taking place Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 36600 Ghost Town Rd. in Yermo. Couples are invited to say “I do” in one of California’s most unique and historic locations. Calico Ghost Town, a preserved silver mining town dating back to 1881, offers a one-of-a-kind setting that blends rustic charm with spooky seasonal spirit. “I am proud to offer couples a truly unforgettable wedding experience,” Gonzales said. “My team is excited to help people celebrate their love in a setting filled with history, character, and the magic of Halloween.”
This annual event draws couples from across the region who are looking to exchange vows in a festive and memorable way. Participants are encouraged to dress in Halloween or western-themed attire to add a playful and personal touch to their ceremony.
“We are thrilled to be able to set the stage for the second annual destination wedding event at Calico Ghost Town. This year, the town will be able to offer the full Halloween experience to the newly wedded couples as we kick off our second weekend of Ghost Haunt,” said Beahta Davis, director of Regional Parks. “We invite the newlyweds to stick around for this special occasion and enjoy the event from 5 to 9 p.m.”
Appointments are encouraged and must be scheduled by contacting the Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk’s Office at 855-732-2575.
The last day to schedule an appointment is Oct. 28, 2025. Additional details, including required documents and fees, are available at arc.sbcounty.gov/marriage.

The Calico House Restaurant will be offering a complimentary drink of choice and a free slice of apple pie to the couples getting married at the town this year, adding a sweet touch to their special day.
