Every year, Calico Ghost Town brings out the scare, fun and excitement of Halloween. This annual event includes, trick-or-treating, costume contests, pumpkin carving, kids’ carnival tent, live entertainment stage shows, haunted attractions and more.

Mistress of Reality
Known as the world’s only all-female tribute to Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne lead by Madame Ozzy. These four talented ladies toured both the US and Europe for more than 2 decades and perform Ozzy’s classic hits, such as Crazy Train, I Don’t Know and Flying High Again while channeling Black Sabbath’s trademark sound with heavy rumble and the pure rock solid leaded loudness.
A Mistress of Reality show promises to deliver a big Rock arena feel with the energy of true “Girl Power” that will have everyone on their feet!

The Doors End of the Night Tribute Band
Performing by day as the Blue Henrys, the band will transform on the Silver Bowl Stage for a special Doors End of the Night Tribute performance with classic hit songs from The Doors band, such as Light My Fire, Riders on the Storm, Break on Through (To the Other Side) and other hit songs.
The Blue Henrys were formed in 2003 by guitarist-vocalist, Henry Merenda. Known for putting their own spin on Chicago-style blues, they’ve been a fixture on the High Desert blues scene, performing at numerous festivals including the New Blues Festival in both Long Beach and Adelanto.

The Storytellers is a prominent progressive bluegrass band that has established itself as a creative force in the Southern California Roots Music scene.

Rose's Pawn Shop
For two decades, Rose’s Pawn Shop have evolved their version of modern-day American roots music. It’s an anthemic sound that’s taken the group from their hometown of Los Angeles — where frontman Paul Givant formed the band as a bluegrass-inspired act, making room for punky tempos and fiddle solos — to venues across the country, where their sound grew to encompass the sweep of rock & roll, the sonics of folk music, and the storytelling of country.

Jack & Jeri’s shared love of circus and stunt skills unexpectedly evolved into their careers. Their sons, Max and Oz naturally grew up learning many unusual skills as well. Store Front Decorating Contest
As part of our Halloween festivities, we will be hosting our annual shop decorating contest.
Concessionaires are encouraged to decorate their porches and shop fronts in a general Halloween theme.
Visitors are encouraged to obtain a voting ballot from the Park Office to cast their vote for their favorite shop front.

We invite you to participate in our annual Ghost Haunt Campsite Decorating Contest.
THEME
This year’s theme will be the Outlaws versus Miners. Use your imagination and show us your most creative displays.
Just decorate you campsite to match one of the following categories in your interpretation of this year’s theme:

- Overall best campsite
Winners will be announced each Sunday at 10:15 a.m. on the Main Street stage in town.
“Overall Best” winner will receive one (1) complimentary full hookup campsite to return for either weekend during our 2025 Ghost Haunt Festival.

Calico will be featuring Disney’s, Tim Burton’s 1993 release, Nightmare Before Christmas. It tells the tale of Jack Skellington, a resident of Halloween Town, who stumbles upon Christmas Town and becomes obsessed with celebrating the holiday himself. The movie is rated PG (Parental Guidance).

Calico will be featuring Disney Pixar’s 2017 release, Coco.
The story follows a 12-year-old boy named Miguel living in Santa Cecilia, Mexico, who dreams of becoming a famous musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz, despite his family’s strict, generational ban on music. On Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), Miguel is accidentally transported to the colorful Land of the Dead. The movie is rated PG (Parental Guidance).

During the evening Scare Hours, costumed creatures descend on to Main Street for a quick scare, photo opportunity or chill down your spine. Watch out as they are lurking around every corner.
