LAKE HOURS

  • Daily: 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Reminder: Although we are a dog-friendly recreation spot, dogs are not allowed on the beach, at events or in any of the gated areas, except for service animals with proper registration and training. We do have a gated dog park for large and smaller dogs and dogs are welcome on the trails (on leash).
  • As of March 1, 2021, Lake Gregory Community Recreation Company is now the new concessionaire.

    Located in the community of Crestline, Lake Gregory Regional Park is a hidden gem tucked in the cool cedar and pine forest of the San Bernardino Mountains. The lake has 84 surface acres for swimming and water sports and is a cool respite in the hot summer months in the city.

    Beat the heat at Lake Gregory. The lake offers an inflatable water park, an exhilarating, fun, inflated on-water playground. Combined with our swim beach and water slides, Lake Gregory provides the most on-water fun in the San Bernardino Mountains.

    • Four-acre swimming lake is currently open.
    Fish in water

    Fishing

    Lake Gregory offers the sport of fishing. A California state fishing license and County fishing fee is required to fish at our parks.

    Boating and Water Sports

    Boat launch fees apply only to launching your durable personal boat, kayak, stand-up paddleboard, canoe, or other lake-staff-approved vessels.

    A life vest must be onboard and accessible for each person on the boat, and all children must wear their life jackets at all times.

    Hiking

    Lake Gregory Regional Park offers a wide range of trails and footpaths to explore either on a leisurely walk or with a group of experienced hikers. No matter your skill level, our parks offer some of the most beautiful landscapes to travel through.

    Water Slides

    Lake Gregory provides offers water slides for all ages to enjoy.

    Height Minimum Requirement

    Children must be 48″ to ride water slides.

    Splash Pad

    Lake Gregory provides offers a splash pad for water play. This area is a zero depth water playground for children of all ages to enjoy.

    Lake Gregory provides two sand volleyball courts for recreation.

    Beach

    Lake Gregory provides respite from hot summer days. Cooling pine forests and mountain views surround the 84-acre lake (as big as 60 football fields), which is a favorite for sunbathing or relaxing on our cool sand.

    Dog Park

    The dog park is on the South Shore (including a separate one for smaller dogs). Lake Gregory is dog-friendly and offers a 2.7-mile fitness trail to explore. Dogs must be on a leash. Throughout the day you will see many dogs hike the lakeside trail or swim as they go.

    Skatepark Complex

    The skatepark at Lake Gregory is free and offers area skaters a safe, modern park with modular ramps and obstacles, a launch ramp, rails, benches and a mini half-pipe. A great place for active teens to work off some energy.

    San Moritz Lodge

    The Lodge at Lake Gregory is equipped with a full-sized kitchen, a bar and dance floor area and two large event rooms. 

    The Lake view Room, seating 250 persons, offers a wood-beam 35’ high cathedral ceiling, expansive outdoor views and a flagstone fireplace. The Fireside Room also has a fireplace and holds up to 150 persons.

    Leisure Shores Senior Center

    The beautifully appointed Leisure Shores at Lake Gregory offers two meeting rooms and a fully equipped kitchen, an dis the meeting place of the Crest Forest Senior Citizens group.

    The Fireside Room accommodates 60 persons and the Main Hall holds up to 90 persons. The building has a fully equipped kitchen and is available for rental for meetings and special events.

    Day Use Education Excursion Program. Groups with 20 or more youths sponsored by established public or private institutions (such as schools, churches, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, YMCA, YWCA) are eligible for a group rate providing a confirmed, paid (if applicable) reservation is made with the park 48 hours in advance of arrival:
    (A) Entry Fee: Monday – Friday only, except holidays and special events (does not include Waterslides/Floating):

    (II) Children (3 and under) No charge

    Watercraft Rental:
    (A) Launch Fee (does not include parking) $13.00/day

    San Moritz Lodge Facility Rental Fees:
    (A) Full facility rental, both – Fireside and Lakeview rooms (maximum capacity 400 people). Includes full day and rehearsal on space available basis
    (I) Class I (non-profit) use $800.00/day
    (II) Class II (all other entities) use $4,500.00/day
    NOTE: Complimentary set up, teardown, and parking included for (5)(A) above.
    (B) Lawn: Without room rental – Includes chairs and set up – up to 5 hours

    (II) Class II (all other entities) use $800.00
    (C) Overtime Fee (outside of contracted time):

    (E) Deposits (refundable upon return in set up condition):

    (F) San Moritz Cancellation Policy:
    All event fees are due in advance. A deposit of 100 percent of the facility use fee will be due at the time of booking to hold the reserved date. Full fees are due per the contract 30 days in advance of the reserved date including additional rentals, catering and beverage minimums and any upgraded rentals. The full facility use fee will be forfeited for cancellations received 120 days or less before the reserved event date. Fifty percent of the facility use fee is forfeited for cancellation between 121 days and 180 days before the reserved event date. Twenty-five percent of the facility use fee is forfeited for cancellation between 181 days and 240 days before the reserved event date. An administrative fee of $200.00 will be charged for any cancellation of the reserved date over 240 days.
