CHRISTMAS DAY: All parks, including Calico will be closed on Christmas Day.
MOJAVE RIVER FORKS: Due to an ongoing pavement project on State Route 173, there may be traffic delays leading to the park entrance.
PRADO: Day watering is scheduled by the Peacock, Red Tail Hawk, Blue Heron, Osprey and Mallard picnic shelters. The baseball fields are closed for maintenance until further notice. The splash pad is closed for repairs.

Candy Cane Experiments at Prado
Ever wonder how strong are candy canes are or how fast they dissolve? What’s your theory? Come hypothesize with us at Prado Regional Park from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Let’s see what comes out of our experimentations. All ages are welcome! Free with park admission or for those camping with us. Admission is $10 per vehicle. Activity date subject to change dependent on inclement weather conditions.
