Task Force Background
On September 27, 2016 (Item No. 63), the Board of Supervisors approved the formation of an Electronic Dance Music (EDM) Task Force. The purpose of this group was to develop recommendations for enforceable health and safety measures and procedures required for EDM events and all other concerts held on County property. Additionally, the EDM Task Force was to seek input from the community, and to consider changes to future EDM events and all other concerts to address community concerns.
