Easter at Calico

There are scheduled time slots of eggs hunts, which are broken down by age category for the morning and afternoon egg hunts.

Morning: Large dirt corral next to Regional Parks’ office (across from Calico House restaurant)

A wristband is required for the egg hunts.

Morning Egg Hunts Wristband Station:

at the Park Office (next to the Visitor’s Center near the entrance of town)

• 9:30 a.m. (closes at 10 a.m.)

Afternoon Egg Hunts Wristband Station:

• 1:50 p.m. (closes at 2:20 p.m.)

Morning Schedule

• 10:20 a.m. – kids ages 1-2 years old
• 10:35 a.m. – kids ages 3-4 years old
• 10:50 a.m. – kids ages 5-7 years old
• 11:05 a.m. – kids ages 8-12 years old

Afternoon Schedule

• 2:45 p.m. – kids ages 3-4 years old

Join us in some real ol’ gunfightin’ shows reminiscent from the wild, wild West. The Calico Mountain Volunteer Gunfighters will be staging shows throughout the day.

SPECIAL TRAIN ROBBERY SHOWS

A special train robbery, gunfight will take place on the train ride during the following times:

Step back in time for Classrooms Sessions to see what school was like in the 1800s in a small mining town. From teaching subjects to schoolhouse do’s and don’ts, the miner’s children gathered in a one-room school house.
