Regional Parks, Libraries and Museums invites all ages to our family-friendly Summer Kick-Off event at Yucaipa Regional Park. The day will be filled with a live animal presentation by Wildlife Adventure Time, arts & crafts, group games, giant bubbles and more.
The Library Adventure Bus will be on-hand with books, games, giveaways and more. Food vendors will be onsite for hungry appetites or bring your own picnic lunch, blankets and chairs. Make a day out of it and stay for our Movie in the Park, featuring Under the Boardwalk. The movie begins at dusk (around 8 p.m.). Free popcorn is available, while supplies last.
The swim complex will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is on a first come, first served basis. We advise to arrive early for the swim complex as a line begins to form as early as 7:30 a.m. when the park opens. The lakes will be stocked the Thursday prior, June 20 with catfish. We will have something available for everyone in the family to enjoy. Leashed pets are also welcome.
