Prado Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

April 8 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
A stone and wood building with flags and metal plaques on a stone wall represent the new gatehouse at Prado Regional Park.

San Bernardino County Regional Parks along with Fourth District Supervisor Curt Hagman is pleased to announce the completion of several projects, including a new gatehouse, monument sign, boat dock, ADA path of travel and snack bar at Prado Regional Park that are part of a larger master plan to modernize the park’s amenities.

To celebrate the completion, Regional Parks will be holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the public to attend on Wednesday, April 8, at 1 p.m.

Among those speaking at the event will be Fourth District Supervisor Curt Hagman, who has championed the multi-million-dollar investment at Prado, Congresswoman Norma Torres, who provided federal funding for the new snack bar, Director of Regional Parks Beahta Davis and San Bernardino County Assistant Executive Officer Michael Vu, who oversees Regional Parks.

Davis said, “Regional Parks is excited about these new park amenities. The new park entry ensures safe entry and exit from the park and the new snack bar area will provide an accessible, relaxing area for all to enjoy beautiful views of the lake.”
