Join us at Prado Regional Park on Saturday, April 25, as we explore some “beary” important safety tips and tricks when a bear is nearby and how to identify the different types of bears native to our region.
Forget about your worries and your strife when you learn some “paws-itively” wild facts about bears native to North America. We’ll also talk about how to respect our furry wildlife neighbors. It’s a fun way to learn about bear biology and just how necessary the conservation is when recreating outdoors. Plus, we will conduct a field experiment. Join us! It would be unbearable without you!
Admission is $15 per vehicle and free for those camping with us at Prado. All ages are welcome, including leashed pets. All supplies will be provided while they last.
Park hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Bring the whole family, pack a lunch and explore the great outdoors before or after the activity.
