MOJAVE NARROWS TRAFFIC IMPACT: Due to the trout derby on Saturday, March 7, the left hand-lane at the intersection of Yates and Park roads to enter the park traveling eastbound will be closed. Access into the park will be from the westbound direction only. Lane closure signs will be posted.
MOJAVE NARROWS: Both lakes will be closed to fishing on March 6-7, for the derby. Lakes will reopen after derby ends at 1 p.m. on March 7.

If spooking is your thing and Halloween brings out the howl in you, Calico Ghost Town may be the fright place to be the last two weekends in October for our annual Ghost Haunt: Terror Under The Big Top. The first weekend of ghost haunting starts Friday, Oct. 24 through Sunday, Oct. 26. The second weekend starts on Halloween night, Friday, Oct. 31 through Sunday, Nov. 2.

Ghost Haunting activities include pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, costume contests for all ages, campsite decorating contest, live music and entertainment shows, gunfighter shows, family-friendly games and activities, haunted attractions* (includes train rides, gold panning, haunted mine tours, Mystery Shack and ghost tours). *Attractions are an additional price. Costume Contest Guidelines
Eventgoers can enter our costume contest in one of the following categories to win a prize: funniest, cutest, scariest, and most creative. Dogs can join in on the fun too as Dorsey’s Dog House hosts its dog costume contest on Saturdays.
Campsite Contest
Campers can also participate in our annual Ghost Haunt Campsite Decorating Contest based on the “Terror Under The Big Top” theme.
Admission
General admission for adults (12 & over) is $15, youth (ages 4-11) is $10 and ages 3 and under are free. Campers will also receive free admission up to four people with camping reservations. All ages are welcome.
