Running Through the Pines 5k & 10K at Lake Gregory

This will be the 42nd Run Through the Pines. It will be sponsored by the Lake Gregory Company and you guessed it, the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District. The Run Through the Pines is a San Bernardino Rim Mountain Community Event and is one of the longest “running” runs in Southern California (the first one was in 1979). It features a 10K and 5K run (or walk) around Lake Gregory and is brought on by community support from sponsor, vendors, and volunteers from all over the mountain.

Runners and walkers can enjoy a semi-paved roadway around Lake Gregory which passes scenic mountain and lake views. The run is at a 4,720 feet elevation, which makes it a perfect little challenge for mountain locals and especially those folks down the hill. Race day staging is at The Lake Gregory Company. We encourage participants of all levels, children in strollers, pets on a leash, and especially teams/groups.

Music, water stations, chip timing and computerized race results, course patrolled by emergency communications, event t-shirts, custom trophies for 1st place winners in age categories, 5K and 10K overall winner trophies, custom event medals, post-race refreshments, and FRESH COOL MOUNTAIN AIR! Medals & T-shirts Notice: All runners that pre-register before July 1st will receive a medal and t-shirt. We cannot guarantee participation medals or t-shirts for day of registration runners.
