Become a Lifeguard
We are hiring for the 2026 Swim Season
Regional Parks is hiring for the 2026 Swim Season and we are looking for lifeguards and pool managers to work at Glen Helen and Yucaipa Regional Parks swim facilities. Every year, at the beginning of swim season, new and returning lifeguards and pool managers go through a full day of orientation and compete in the annual Lifeguard Olympics.
Lifeguarding offers a rewarding mix of developing crucial skills like leadership, communication, first aid and saving lives while gaining valuable work experience for future career paths. As part of the Regional Parks team, lifeguards build strong social connections with other team members and the community. It’s your opportunity to make a real difference by ensuring water safety, fostering confidence and gaining responsibility while enjoying the great outdoors.

Each park offers diverse outdoor recreation opportunities in settings that range from metro, mountain and desert landscapes.
