Regional Parks along with Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr. invites youth ages 7-16 the opportunity to connect with nature and learn how to fish on Saturday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Glen Helen Regional Park. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.
 
REGISTER CLOSED
The annual event has grown in participation and impact each year, offering children hands-on fishing experiences — from identifying different fish species and selecting bait, to casting lines and learning how to clean and prepare their catch.
 
Check-in begins at 8 a.m. Vendors will be on-site and free popcorn will be available while supplies last. Every participant will receive a free t-shirt. Please provide shirt size(s) when registering.
 
The event will also provide free continental breakfast and lunch for participants and their parents or guardians. Fishing supplies will be provided and volunteers will be available to guide participants.
 
The event is sponsored by Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr., and the San Bernardino County Regional Parks, Children and Family Services and Probation departments.
