GLEN HELEN: Due to Fishing with Supervisor Baca event, the small lake will be closed for public fishing on March 27-28. The lake will reopen on March 28 at 1 p.m.
YUCAIPA ENTRANCE NOTICE: Be advised that lining up or stopping on Oak Glen Rd. to enter Yucaipa is not permitted prior to 7:30 a.m. ‘No Stopping’ signs are posted along Oak Glen Rd. for safety and traffic impacts.

Yucaipa Youth Trout Derby
Join Regional Parks, the Yucaipa Valley Lions Club & the California Fish & Wildlife for our youth derby for kids ages 4-15. Poles and bait will be provided. Volunteers will be onsite to assist youth. All youth must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. The lake will be stocked with trout by the California Fish & Wildlife. Prizes will be awarded at 11 a.m. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. Entry fee is $10 per vehicle.
WHAT TO BRING
- Sunscreen
- Snacks
- A hat
- Personal fishing poles (if you have them)
- Comfortable shoes (waterproof or water resistant would be best)
- Reusable water bottle
- If 16 years old, a state fishing license will need to purchased beforehand (15 and under do not need a state fishing license)
