MOAJVE NARROWS: Horseshoe Lake is closed for fishing until further notice.
MOJAVE RIVER FORKS: Due to an ongoing pavement project on State Route 173, there may be traffic delays leading to the park entrance.
PRADO: Day watering is scheduled by the Peacock, Red Tail Hawk, Blue Heron, Osprey and Mallard picnic shelters. The baseball fields are closed for maintenance until further notice. The splash pad is closed for repairs.
Kite Day with Supervisor Baca, Jr.
Join San Bernardino County Regional Parks, Bloomington Recreation and Park District along with the office of Fifth District Supervisor Joe Baca, Jr., The Olive Branch Development and Empowerment Services, Inc., and the Bloomington Little League for a Kite Day at Kessler Park on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free to the public and all ages are welcome to this family-friendly event.
Spend the afternoon flying a kite or learning how to fly a kite. All supplies will be provided. Participants can either color an assembled kite or bring their own kite. Other activities include arts & crafts, games, giveaways, music and vendors.
Pre-registration is highly encouraged, and check-in begins at 10:30 a.m. Pre-register on the Special Districts website.
